The house
We built the house almost entirely ourselves .
it was important to us to build a low-energy house. Whereever possible natural materials were used always with the attempt to not exploit them.
we have partly recycled wood from exhibition stands, used local wood wherever possible, bought parts of the equipment second-hand and built it ourselves...
it was also important to us to use mostly renewable energy. we have two large solar collectors that heat both the utility water and the underfloor heating system in the entire house. (And if the sun doesn't supply enough, a heat pump would come into play.)

Our house is built according to German energy standards. (insulation, heating technology...)

we offer you an all - round carefree package to arrive and relax. the property is right on the sea with a large garden, a fireplace for BBQ, many small seating opportunities and a large terrace with a direct sea view.

the large, open and well-equipped kitchen in the living and dining area invites you to cook for yourself with sea view.
During day time You can use a large multi-purpose room on the upper floor with a panoramic sea view for yourself or for group trips (e.g. for yoga, sports (quite), meetings...).
for group trips this can also be reserved for specific times on request .

for our little guests we have some toys and games, a skateboard ramp and a large Garden to provid entertainment.
do not worry. The skateboard ramp is located in the front part of the property and therefore those looking for rest should also be able to find their peace.

the house is located directly on the atlantic , on one of the most impressive coastlines of this island.
there are a variety of bathing spots in the direct surrounding. You can choose between harbor bays, natural rock pools and a seawater-filled swimming pool. in addition, the best restaurant on the island, as well as many other restaurants , is only a few minutes walk from our house.
we are about 700 meters from the town centre. here you will find shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as some of the main hubs for tourist activities such as mountain tours , whale watching and scuba diving .

Located between a vineyard and the sea , this spot brings together two of the island's oldest traditions - fishing and wine growing .
although the coastal strip has recently become a nature reserve, the regional fishing flair of of the past should not be concealed, because the remains of the old tuna factory are in the neighbourhood. (a factory where tuna was still caught with a fishing rod and which at the same time gave work to many islanders.)
